About ABC

At Advanced Behavioral Concepts (ABC), we are focused on community health and well-being in California's Central Valley. Founded by a diverse team of professionals passionate about education and harm reduction, our nonprofit is committed to fostering safe, informed, and responsible discussions around health practices.

We empower individuals by providing essential knowledge and tools to enhance safety in managing personal health. Our services include harm reduction education, distribution of Narcan and drug test kits, and active participation in community outreach. As we continue to grow, we are looking forward to expanding our offerings with additional services such as counseling and more comprehensive community education programs.

Located in Fresno, CA, we are dedicated to making a tangible difference in our community. Our focus is on igniting meaningful conversations and catalyzing change for a healthier Central Valley. By prioritizing education over judgment, we strive to reduce harm and enhance well-being across the region.

Our Vision

Our mission is reflected in the following core values:

Education is fundamental to our mission. We offer comprehensive and accessible resources that promote awareness, break down stigmas, and equip our community with the essential knowledge they need. Through education, we empower individuals to make informed decisions and foster a more understanding and compassionate community.

We are dedicated to providing unwavering support to those in need. This includes harm reduction education, Narcan distribution, and comprehensive outreach efforts. We believe no one should face their struggles alone, and we are committed to being a reliable resource for our community.

We believe in the inherent worth of every individual. Our goal is to encourage people to see themselves beyond any labels, recognizing their value and potential. By empowering individuals to believe in their self-worth, we help them to take active roles in their recovery and personal growth, creating a ripple effect of positive change throughout the community.

Innovation is at the heart of our vision for the future. As a forward-thinking community, we strive to lead in creating solutions and driving change, rather than being the last to adopt outdated practices.

By staying at the forefront of research and best practices, we ensure that our programs and services are effective, relevant, and responsive to the evolving needs of our community.

Our Mission

At Advanced Behavioral Concepts (ABC), our mission is to foster a community where every member has the opportunity to strive to be their best self. We believe in embracing all ideas and ensuring that everyone has a place at the table. Our vision is to create a dynamic, inclusive community that is constantly evolving, always working towards a better tomorrow for the next generation.

Just like humans, communities are never finished products. We recognize that we are always evolving, striving to create a better tomorrow for the next generation. However, much like individuals, if we become stagnant, we risk losing our vitality and growth.

Our aim is to provide comprehensive support, compassionate care, and evidence-based solutions to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorders and mental health issues. Through education, advocacy, and individualized services, we seek to empower individuals on their path to recovery and enhance the well-being of our community as a whole.

We don't have all the answers, and we don't know everything, but we believe in the importance of trying something different. By taking bold steps and experimenting with new approaches, we can create meaningful change and inspire others to do the same.
